AES-256 encryption.
Put sensitive text in the protected message box. Keep private content and files in the secure exchange while Outlook delivers the invitation link.
Click the We Secure Data icon. Send an AES-256 encrypted message and large files through a secure link. Give your recipient cryptographic proof they can check online—and keep to verify independently offline, years from now.
Start an Outlook email as usual. Click the purple We Secure Data icon in the ribbon to open the secure-message pane.
Keep the Outlook workflow your team already knows.
Enter the confidential message in the encrypted message box and select your files. AES-256 encryption protects the private content; it stays out of the ordinary email body.
Large files travel through the protected exchange. Your email carries a link, rather than bulky attachments. Plan allowances apply.
Choose “Insert secure link”. The add-in places a clear invitation into your draft and confirms it is ready. Review your email and press Outlook’s Send button when you are ready.
No separate delivery workflow: prepare the protected content, then send from your familiar email.
The recipient follows the secure link and enters the code sent to their email address. In this workflow, the private message and filenames stay hidden until that check succeeds.
A forwarded invitation alone does not prove control of the invited email address.
The protected page shows the sender, message access details and the available cryptographic proof. Choose “Verify this message” to check the evidence on the recipient’s own device.
Cryptographic evidence lets the recipient check the recorded sender and detect changes to the protected content.
After access verification, the recipient can open a readable preview of the protected message. Its provenance information travels with the message.
Encryption protects confidentiality. Cryptographic proof provides a separate way to check origin and integrity.
Open the attached PDF directly in the browser. Supported previews make it easy to review the document before downloading permitted files.
The message and its protected attachments are part of the same verifiable exchange.
Choose “Download the message and verification evidence”. Keep the complete ZIP: the message, attachments and available cryptographic evidence belong together. To check it on the live page, choose or drop that ZIP into the verification area.
The browser checks the bundle locally. The evidence files are not uploaded for this verification.
The message page reports “Independent verification successful”. The checks confirm the recorded sender, message integrity, attachments and cryptographic evidence available in the bundle.
This is a check of the evidence, beyond trusting the delivery email’s appearance.
The verified page shows the message and attachment with their check indicators. Download the verified message and evidence for your records, and repeat the verification whenever you need it.
Keep evidence of the exact content in the exchange, alongside the documents you received.
Extract the downloaded ZIP and keep all its files together. The bundle includes ProveThisMessage.html, the verified files, proof material and instructions.
Your retained evidence can outlast access to the original message link.
Open ProveThisMessage.html from the extracted bundle in a browser. Choose the original evidence ZIP if prompted. The bundled verifier checks the saved evidence locally, without the live message page.
Keep both the original ZIP and the extracted verifier files for future checks, including offline.
The saved verifier reports “Verified origin and integrity” and checks the included files against their recorded hashes and provenance evidence. Retain the complete bundle so you can repeat those checks years later.
The proof travels with the message and files. Future verification can be independent of the live service.
Put sensitive text in the protected message box. Keep private content and files in the secure exchange while Outlook delivers the invitation link.
Share substantial documents and files through the secure link instead of ordinary email attachments. Your plan’s per-file, storage and transfer allowances apply.
See file-size allowances →Recipients can check the sender and detect changes to the protected message and files. Download the proof and included verifier for independent checks later.
The proof travels with the message and attachments. Save the complete bundle so future checks do not depend on the original delivery email or continued access to the live message link.
Download the evidence ZIP, then choose or drop it into the message page’s verification area. The browser checks the evidence locally and displays the result.
Your evidence is checked on your device.Keep the ZIP and its included files. Open the bundled ProveThisMessage.html locally, select the original ZIP if prompted, and run the checks without the live service.
